Doreen Collins - Inducted  October 3, 2015

No one has more fun making people laugh than Doreen Collins. For decades now, the first female to be inducted into the RICHOF, has been making Rhode Islanders chuckle with unique brand of comedy. From stages to television, Doreen is always ready with the wittiest joke and the funniest skit. And is 

On stage Doreen is known for her sharp joke telling and hilarious song parodies and impressions. She's never afraid to take it to the next level with costumes and wigs that mimic everyone from local politicians to celebrities like Cher.

Over the years she's also become known for being part of comedy troupes like "Ocean State Follies" and her most recent show, "Aging Disgracefully" with Charle Hall. She also regularly produces and hosts her own stand-up comedy showcase featuring the area's best female comics called The Ladies Room.

When she's not on stage making people laugh, she's reaching people in their homes with her many appearances on local television. She proudly wrote, produced, and starred in her own award-winning late night TV show on NBC called "Rhode Bytes", as well as her regular feature called "UnReal Deals". Today you can see her on the local ABC affiliate with her features called "Senior Moments" and as a regular panel guest on "The Rhode Show". Doreen is also an author of a top selling book called Confessions of a Working Girl.
